This is where the designs come from
We've been building gardens for fifteen years — walls, steps, terracing, drainage, paving, ponds. The design studio came later, and it exists because we got tired of being handed drawings that couldn't be built.
If you want us to build your garden as well as design it, that's the simplest route. If you've got a design from someone else, we'll look at it honestly and tell you whether it works.

Frequently asked questions
Do you only build your own designs?
Mostly, but not exclusively. We’ll build from another designer’s drawings if the detailing is sound and the specification is clear enough to price properly.
What we won’t do is build something we think won’t work — if a drawing specifies a detail that will fail, we’ll say so before we start rather than halfway through.
How far do you travel?
We work within roughly 90 minutes of Preston. That covers most of Lancashire, the Fylde coast, Chorley and the Ribble Valley, parts of Greater Manchester and Merseyside, and South Cumbria.
For design-only work we’re not limited by distance.
How long will my garden take to build?
It depends entirely on scale, but most full garden builds run [X to X weeks]. The design pack includes a realistic programme, because the point of designing properly is knowing the answer before you start.
Weather is the honest variable. Groundworks in a Lancashire January take longer than groundworks in June and we’d rather tell you that upfront.
Do you offer a guarantee?
