Garden design in Preston, drawn by the people who build it

See your garden in 3D, costed and buildable, before a spade hits the ground.

Design that can actually be built

Most garden designs are drawn by people who have never laid a flag. Ours aren't. Fifteen years on the tools, first in the Lake District and now across Lancashire, means every line on the plan has a method and a price behind it.

You get a full design pack — plans, 3D renders, planting and a materials schedule detailed enough to price accurately. Build it with us, or take it to any landscaper you like. The pack is yours either way.

TESTIMONIALS

What our clients say

We’re proud to create gardens that our clients love.

“Fantastic design and renders provided for a large eco-system pond project. The team seemed to go the extra mile and have a very good eye for detail. Will use again and definitely deserve 5 stars.”

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does a garden design cost?

Our design fees start at [£XXX] for a concept package and [£XXX] for a full construction pack. The figure depends on the size of the garden and how much technical detail the build needs — a flat rectangular plot is a different job to a sloping site with retaining walls and levels to resolve.

We quote a fixed fee upfront, before any work starts. You’ll know exactly what you’re paying before you commit. [If we go on to build the garden, the design fee comes off the build cost.]

No. The pack is yours. You can take it to any landscaper, get three quotes from it, or sit on it for two years and build it when you’re ready.

In practice most clients do ask us to build, because the drawings came from us and there’s nothing lost in translation. But the design stands on its own, and it’s specified clearly enough that any competent contractor can price it accurately.

Around two to three weeks from the survey to the finished pack. Roughly: site survey and consultation, 1 day; concept layout for you to review, 3 days; revisions after your feedback, 5 days; final pack with renders, planting and specification, 7 days.

We build one round of changes into every design as standard. Most clients use it.

Every line on our drawings has a method and a price behind it. We’ve built the details we’re specifying — we know what a 900mm retaining wall actually costs, how a level change works on the ground, and which materials look right in this climate five years in.

Designs drawn without that knowledge often can’t be built as shown, or can be built but at double the budget the client had in mind. Ours are costed and buildable from day one.

We work within roughly 90 minutes of Preston — most of Lancashire, the Fylde coast, Chorley, the Ribble Valley, parts of Greater Manchester and South Cumbria.

For design-only work we aren’t limited by distance, and we work with clients across the UK who send us their own survey information.
